Child safety standards
Keeping children safe.

These are CINQ’s standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). They apply everywhere CINQ runs: cinq.watch, the CINQ apps for iPhone and Android, and the CINQ browser extension.
CINQ is for adults
Everyone on CINQ must be 18 or older. You confirm your age when you sign up, and we close any account we believe belongs to someone under 18. Our Terms of Service say the same.
Zero tolerance
CINQ has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. It is never allowed anywhere on CINQ: not in profiles, posts, comments, reels, messages, watch parties or party chat. That includes:
- child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind, including drawn, edited or AI-made images, and links to it;
- sexualising a minor in any way;
- grooming: contacting or befriending a minor in order to abuse or exploit them;
- sextortion: threatening to share intimate images of someone, or pressuring them for more;
- offering, trafficking or advertising a child for sex;
- asking for, offering or trading any of the above.
How to report
In the CINQ app or on cinq.watch, use Report on a profile, a post, a message conversation or in a watch party, and choose “Someone underage” or “Sexual or explicit content”. Add a note if you can: it helps us act faster. Reports are private, and the person is never told who reported them.
You can also email safety@cinq.watch, with or without a CINQ account. Please don’t send us copies of abusive images. Tell us where they are instead (a username, a link, or where in CINQ you saw them) and we will find them.
If a child is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number first (911 in the US). You can also report child sexual exploitation straight to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) at report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678.
What we do
- A person reviews every child-safety report, as a priority.
- We remove the content and terminate the accounts involved.
- We report apparent child sexual abuse material to NCMEC’s CyberTipline, as US law requires, and to law enforcement where the law requires it.
- We keep the evidence the law tells us to keep, and cooperate with law enforcement and valid legal requests.
The law
CINQ complies with the child-safety laws that apply to it, including the duty of US online services to report child sexual abuse material to NCMEC.
